Small but very friendly and efficient staff. New owners since December 2016 who you see every day and well into the evening tending to everyone's needs. We enjoyed this park. It has few amenities for kids and family but we liked it that way since we are seniors and enjoy the quiet.
Great basic park at reasonable prices. Friendly owners, spacious sites, clean bath houses, hot showers and great access to the Black Hills. Highly recommended !!!
They are making some improvements that will easily turn this into a 5-star park very soon (laying new gravel for more-level sites and less mud during rain, improving the showers-which were already nice and clean, and possibly adding more sites, as they have lots of open space available).
What would really cap this off as a perfect park is enclosing some of their open land into a little dog-park area!
Spots are good size- fit our 30' with dolly and towed car with lots of room to spare. Plus a good grass area with picnic table- plenty big for us to put out our little dog pen to create a play area for our 2 dogs.
You will find it behind the president's heads.
Nice campground. Smaller and cheaper than the other one in town.
Great place to camp, central to all the attractions of Rapid City and the Black Hills. Not a resort, just level full hook ups. Price is right and the camp is tidy. Staff and owner are terrific. Don't tell anyone, but this is a hidden gem.
Would absolutely stay here again.

Under new ownership and they are great. Very nice people, gave great recommendations on places to visit and where to stop on our way out. It was very cold during our stay so the spot we chose had no water turned on, so the owner brought out his very long hose in order to fill my water tank without us having to move sites after getting all setup.
