We stayed 5 nights and for the most part enjoyed our stay. Campground staff were friendly and very helpful, campground is very clean and quiet. Showers and bathrooms appeared spotless. A few negatives - the swimming pool was not kept clean. Also, they use open settling ponds for the septic waste and when the wind shifts you get the smell of raw sewage permeating the campground. Not pleasant.
Was cheap to stay with PASSPORT AMERICA. Staff was friendly. Camp sites are shorter than listed and very close together. Nice clean laundry and shower/restrooms. Not far from local attractions. No shade trees or place to take your dog off leash. New upgrades under construction. 8-2017.
We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed the park and the surrounding area. All common areas are clean and well kept! Quiet and close to all the wonderful attractions around the Rapid City area. We will make this a regular spot in our travels.
I stayed here for one week, and it was pleasant. Quiet at night, and close to the freeway for daytime adventures. The lot itself isn't very large, however it did look like they were going to start expanding soon. Big area for walking/running, and a nice store inside the main office. Pool is fantastic!
